A century, the twentieth, beginning of industrialization

Of bricks the numerous chimneys from which the smoke escapes

Under the dull or shrill noise of the workers harnessing themselves

To transform raw materials

Decades later these chimneys are crashing

More profitable, too old

Some remain, memory of a past time

Tribute to those who worked

For a pittance

For the benefit of a certain Humanity

The Path also passes through Inhumanity
